How would you change this if using heat treated aluminum, like 2024 T3? Any worries with work hardening and then getting stuck since you need the specific temper? Would the bead roller be the way to go? Or even go to like a poor man's hydro forming press since it's so much softer? I'm thinking like .016 to .040 thickness

Ok great work . Take a look at what fire trucks do with there air bottles no space is wasted. Your gas bottles could go to the left and right of the wheel opening two to three bottles a side check them out

Absolute art on wheels ! A sculpture that you can ride. Love this thing. Ok - I have to ask - besides those (awesome) seat belts, and brakes, have you given any thought about surviving an accident ? Hear me out ...I know it's not the 'cool' thing to bring up, but it needs to be said. I think little, simple things like rounding off the inside around the windshield, could keep your head from being sliced open. I know you could create something safe(r) that still has the look.

Nice job, looks great! Can you put a big block of wood under the deck on one side, use the air bags and your giant sway bar to lift a rear wheel if you get a flat? it looks like getting a jack under there on the side of the road could be a pain. Also, Elio almost looks comfortable on camera now.

treated plywood is a bad idea. The chemicals used to treat it are corrosive to steel and aluminum when exposed to water it will eat that steal in a very short time, if you want to use plywood use marine grade

Using a lathe to center the ball and rod is a great idea. Also, knowing you can weld stainless steel and soft metal using a TIG welder and a special welding rod is good. Thank you!

Ha ha ha I've been 12 years wired in a micro switch for a trigger with electrical tape ordered two new triggers because I needed to change it forgot where I put the first one replaced the second micro switch with the sister of the first ordered another trigger chucked it in the same draw I put the first in doing so found the first one , that was a few years ago so I still have two unused triggers if you temp fix something and it last why Un fix it to repair it
